Voting and Election Information
As a cooperative, Poudre Valley REA is governed by democratic principles. Each spring the association holds an annual meeting and an election for the Board of Directors. Any member in good standing may petition to run for the Board.

How to become a candidate for the Board of Directors at PVREA As a cooperative, Poudre Valley REA is governed by democratic principles. Each spring the association holds an annual meeting and an election for the Board of Directors. There are three director positions up for election in 2013, two in Larimer County and one in Weld County. The association bylaws are detailed concerning the petition procedure. Any member in good standing of the association is eligible to submit a petition to become a candidate for the Board of Directors. Petitions must be signed by at least 15 members of the association and submitted to the Board no later than Noon, February 4, 2013. A candidate must also submit a photo and biography and may submit up to a 250 word summary of the candidate's qualifications and views for inclusion in the "Notice of Annual Meeting" which is sent to all members.
Board candidate and petition packets may be picked up at PVREA's office located at: 7649 REA Parkway, Ft. Collins, CO 80528 beginning at Noon on Dec. 18, 2012.
