Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association, Inc. is a
distribution cooperative owned by the members that
it serves. Poudre Valley REA was founded in 1939 by
its member-owners to provide reliable electricity.
Today Poudre Valley REA covers 5,760 square
miles of service territory in Larimer, Weld, and
Boulder counties and over 3600 miles of
overhead, underground and transmission line
combine, serving approximately 35,000 consumers.
Regardless of growth Poudre Valley REA still
provides the same high standards and sound
energy that all consumers have come to rely
upon.

SOLAR
INCENTIVES

If you are considering investing in
solar technologies, you can receive
rebates on select solar installations.
As a combined rebate with the
Governor's
Energy Office (GEO) Poudre Valley will
match these rebates, dollar-for-dollar.
Beginning June 2, 2008, at 8:00
a.m. Poudre Valley will provide an
incentive for solar electric
installations intended to provide
electricity to a home through the use of
solar photovoltaic panels.
- $2,000 Maximum from Poudre
Valley
- $2,000 Maximum from the State
of Colorado (GEO)
- $4,000 TOTAL Possible Rebate
Rebates available on a first-come
first-served basis and funds are
limited.
Application must include a check
for $100 made out to Poudre Valley to
complete the Engineering Study.
All New
Energy Incentives require customers to
contact Poudre Valley's Member Services
Department prior to purchasing or
installing any equipment to ensure
eligibility.
