Safety
Emergency Conditions
If you experience an interruption of your
electric service, please follow these simple steps.
Make sure that the trouble is not in your wiring.
You own and are responsible for the wiring from the
meter to your home. Check your fuses or circuit
breakers to be sure that there is not a problem in
your home’s electric system.
Check with your neighbors to see if they have
electricity. This helps us analyze and isolate the
problem.
Report an outage or power problem by calling
970-225-1234 or 800-432-1012. If you have more than
one account with us, have your account number or
meter number ready so that we may identify the
correct location that you are reporting.
Useful information to have when your call is
answered is:
- Your name (or the account number the
account is under)
- Your service address
- Your meter
number
- Any information about the possible cause of
the outage
Remember that we are here 24/7
We have trained personnel to take your outage
information so that trained personnel can analyze
the outage situation and send crews to respond and
find and fix the problem.
No matter what time of the day or night, or what
type of weather conditions when you power is out,
we’ll fix it as fast as we safely can. However, we
do not expect our crews to drive or work in
dangerous road or weather conditions.
