Let Your Kids Show Us What Safety Means to Them

May is Electrical Safety Month, and Poudre Valley REA wants to see what safety means to our kids! PVREA is sponsoring a cooperative electrical safety coloring contest, giving children an opportunity to showcase their artistic abilities.

What to enter:
Children must submit an illustration of what they know about electrical safety, along with the Electrical Safety Contest Entry Form. Examples are: not sticking a utensil in an electrical socket, not playing around pad-mount transformers, not flying a kite near a power line, etc.

ALL entries must be received at the Poudre Valley REA office by the end of the day, Friday, May 23. Submit entries to the Member Relations Department at PO Box 272550, Fort Collins, CO 80527, drop off at the office located at 7649 REA Parkway, Fort Collins, CO 80528 or scan and email to ablunck@pvrea.com.

A winner from each group will receive a $50 gift card to The Summit in Windsor! PVREA employees will judge contestants in the following age categories:
Group 1: Ages 3-4 years
Group 2: Ages 5-6 years
Group 3: Ages 7-8 years
Group 4: Ages 9-10 years

Winners will be announced by June 1 and will be posted on PVREA’s website and Facebook, and will appear in the July issue of Colorado Country Life magazine. All entries submitted must include a completed official entry form with signed parental consent.
