Poudre Valley REA (PVREA) has been nominated for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Awards for Ethics – an honorable award for businesses in Northern Colorado.
The BBB Torch Awards for Ethics acknowledges a local business for outstanding ethics conducted throughout its business practices.
“As a leader of this organization, I am thrilled our organization is nominated for such an outstanding award and achievement,” PVREA CEO Jeff Wadsworth commented, “And I am proud of our Board of Directors and employees, who collectively create such a community-oriented and ethical work environment.”
To become a nominee, a business is nominated by members of the public and nominees are then selected from a nomination panel.
Nominees are also judged on ethics from students at the College of Business at Colorado State University, Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado and University of Wyoming College of Business. The students review each business’ ethics based on leadership commitment to ethical practices, character within the organization’s leaders, community involvement and the value of people.
Fourteen businesses are nominees for this award in 2016. The winner is selected by BBB board members, past award winners and distinguished business professionals.
The winner will be announced at the BBB Torch Awards for Ethics 2016 Celebration Luncheon on April 26, 2016. Visit the BBB website for more information on this award.
