Youth Tour and Leadership Camp Students Selected

Poudre Valley REA is excited to announce the selection of students to attend the Washington D.C. Youth Tour and Youth Leadership Camp. 

Elise Dunning, a junior at University Schools in Greeley, has been selected to represent Poudre Valley REA at the 2016 Youth Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs. She will join more than 100 other students from Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming and Oklahoma for a week in July to learn about the foundations of electric cooperatives and their impact in local communities, increase leadership skills, and adventure in the Rocky Mountains. Joshua Stackhouse, a junior at Loveland High School, and Bradley Harney, a junior at Mountain View High School, have been selected to represent Poudre Valley REA at the 2016 Washington D. C. Youth Tour in July. These students will join more than 1,700 other students from around the country for a week to learn about electric cooperatives, legislative processes and have the opportunity to explore our nation’s capitol and meet U.S. Senators and Representatives.Check out our Facebook page in July to see pictures of the Youth Tour students in D.C.
