What is it?
A camp that brings young people from Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and Wyoming together to learn about how electric cooperatives operate and build their leadership skills- all while having tons of fun! The campers have the opportunity to serve on committees that plan activities throughout the week such as a banquet, dance, games, and the daily operations. They tour a mine and a power plant, see a variety of awesome speakers and presentations, go rafting and make memories of a lifetime.

If you're selected to go, camp is FREE for you. Poudre Valley REA is proud to sponsor your educational week away.

You'll need to fill out an application, submit an essay, video, or your own version of creative work to address one of these topics:
- Research "The Cooperative Principles" and pick which one you think is most important. Explain why.
- What is a significant experience or challenge that you've faced and how did you handle it?
- Identify a need/issue in your community and explain how you have or would resolve it.
*Optional (but recommended) to include a resume with your application and essay.
When is the application deadline?
Completed applications must be returned by January 14, 2019 (EXTENDED DEADLINE). If we think your application is stellar, we'll contact you to schedule an individual interview to get to know you a little better- so be checking your email after you apply! Winners will be contacted by January 31, 2019.
